Our Future Goals

Awareness Programmes
We have progressed in this matter after having surveyed the surrounding areas two times. But still we require to aware more and more people so that we can start this as a massive programme in the upcoming years. We can do these in the following ways:
a. Awareness of the need of basic education by using placards, posters, leaflets etc.
b. Taking out a procession of students for awareness generation.
c. Print media will be a greater help to us in making people aware.

Routine Medical Checkup
We can provide the students studying in our centre with necessary medicine from our college health centre. Also running frequent vaccination programme can render help to the needy ones. Running HIV, Anti-drug and Hygiene programmes could also help their families a great deal. We are also thinking of collaborating with North Bengal Medical College for a monthly visit to our campus, by the students who are currently in internship programmes.

Old-age Education
As this programme is running successfully for the past 5 months we are thinking that it would be a great idea to render education to the aged illiterate people, who succumbed to their struggles of poverty and literate them with some basic education. At least they may be able to do their own signature rather than using their thumb impression.

Higher Education
If this programme runs successfully for sometime more we can even extend the classes up to class 12. This if done, would be very helpful to those who are either unable to receive education after 10 or cannot afford the tuitions that are required these days. We are planning to cover the whole of Jalpaiguri town under this programme.
